I never finished a degree. That never stopped me.

I spent 21 years working for two companies, and I never had to change jobs to move up — I walked in as an entry-level technician both times and worked my way to the top. At the first, I made it to service center manager with 16 people reporting to me. When I hit the ceiling there — no degree, no path to general manager — I moved to a Fortune 20 company, started over as an entry-level tech again, and worked my way up to a repairman position pulling over $130,000 a year.

By then my wife and I — high school sweethearts, married more than twenty years now — had bought our first home at 23, built our dream home in a master-planned community sixteen years later, and put two daughters through good schools with our son coming up behind them. From the outside, it looked finished.

Then COVID hit. I wasn't forced out, but I took the surplus anyway, because keeping my family safe mattered more than the paycheck. It was one of the hardest calls I've made, and it changed everything that came after.

So I started a business — carpet and tile, self-taught the same way I've taught myself everything: YouTube, trial, repetition. Five years in, it was gone. I had to close the doors and file bankruptcy. That failure taught me something I couldn't have learned any other way: I'm good at business. I just never had a system. I was the system — every hat, every task, all running through one person.

Most people I know are scared of AI. I've never been someone who runs from fear, so I ran straight at it — studying the same way I've always studied, one YouTube video at a time, until it clicked. The first thing I built with it was a book, The Money Blueprint. Then The Focus Blueprint, because I needed that system as much as anyone. Then The AI Income Blueprint.
